DWDM & IP-MPLS Expansion project

I managed the DWDM & IP-MPLS Expansion Project across 59 regions of Azerbaijan over a 14-month period to enhance connectivity and improve network stability. Using Cisco equipment, we expanded DWDM and IP-MPLS infrastructure, increasing capacity, resilience, and scalability. Result: better data efficiency, less downtime, and a stronger national telecom backbone.

Next Generation Firewall project

I managed the Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) Project for the largest telecom company in Azerbaijan, ensuring enhanced network security and threat protection. The 6-month project involved rack installations, hardware deployment, and configuration of Fortinet NGFW solutions to strengthen the company's cybersecurity infrastructure. Throughout the project, I coordinated equipment installation, integration, and testing to ensure seamless implementation without disrupting operations. As a result, the company achieved higher network security, improved threat detection and mitigation, and enhanced traffic management, significantly reducing cyber risks and ensuring a more resilient telecom infrastructure.

SAP Business One & SAP A1 implementation project

I managed multiple SAP ERP implementation projects, including SAP Business One and SAP S/4HANA (A1), for various sectors such as government organizations, retail, logistics, and the oil & gas industry. Each project had different timelines but shared the goal of optimizing business processes through SAP module integration. My responsibilities included requirement analysis, system configuration, data migration, user training, and go-live support to ensure seamless adoption. As a result, these organizations achieved enhanced operational efficiency, streamlined workflows, improved financial transparency, and better decision-making capabilities, ultimately driving digital transformation and business growth.

ICT Deployment project

I managed the ICT Deployment Project for a newly built five-floor governmental organization, ensuring a fully operational and secure IT infrastructure. The project involved cabling, electrical installations, IT rack setup with network equipment, camera deployment, and UPS installation to support the organization's digital operations. Throughout the project, I oversaw planning, procurement, installation, and testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and seamless integration of all systems. As a result, the organization achieved a robust and reliable IT infrastructure, enhanced security through surveillance systems, uninterrupted power supply, and efficient network connectivity, enabling smooth daily operations.

HR Add-on solution project

I managed the HR Add-on Solution Project, which involved developing a custom HR module for an existing ERP system. This solution was unique, as no similar product existed in the market. The project required an in-depth analysis of HR regulations, payroll structures, and governance frameworks in Azerbaijan to ensure full compliance and functionality. Through close collaboration with stakeholders and developers, we successfully designed and implemented an HR add-on that streamlined employee management, payroll processing, and regulatory reporting. As a result, organizations benefited from automated HR workflows, improved compliance, and enhanced efficiency in workforce administration.

Budget Management System development project

I managed the Budget Management System Development Project, which involved creating a complex web application for an organization to efficiently handle a large financial flow. The project was particularly challenging due to the annual updates in financial regulations in the country, requiring continuous adaptation and compliance. I oversaw the system architecture design, development, integration, and testing, ensuring scalability and security. As a result, the organization gained a centralized and automated budgeting system, enabling real-time financial tracking, regulatory compliance, improved transparency, and streamlined financial operations.

Data Center Modernization project

I managed the Data Center Modernization Project for the largest bank in Azerbaijan, ensuring a seamless upgrade without any downtime, as even a 3-second shutdown was not an option. The project involved renovating and modernizing the existing data center infrastructure, integrating cutting-edge IT solutions, and improving overall system resilience. Additionally, we implemented a new fire security system, including Novec 1230 gas-based fire suppression, to enhance data center safety. As a result, the bank achieved a more efficient, secure, and high-availability data center, ensuring continuous operations, improved disaster recovery capabilities, and enhanced fire protection.

Data Center migration project

I managed the Data Center Migration Project, where we successfully relocated the entire data center infrastructure as the organization moved to a new building. The migration involved 13 rack cabinets, including network switches, storage systems, and UPS units, and had to be completed within 2 days to ensure zero downtime for operations. Through detailed planning, risk assessment, and precise execution, we securely transported and reinstalled all equipment, ensuring seamless functionality at the new site. As a result, the organization experienced a smooth transition with no service disruption, improved infrastructure layout, and enhanced operational efficiency in the new facility.

ICT & AppDynamics installation project

I managed the ICT & AppDynamics Installation Project, which involved the installation of new switches, UPS systems, and storage solutions to support the implementation of Cisco AppDynamics for comprehensive system monitoring. The goal was to ensure real-time performance monitoring, analytics, and optimization of the entire IT infrastructure. I oversaw the hardware setup, integration, and configuration of AppDynamics, ensuring seamless deployment and minimal disruption. As a result, the organization achieved enhanced system visibility, proactive issue detection, and improved operational efficiency, enabling better performance management and quicker resolution of IT-related challenges.

Software development project

I have managed a variety of SDLC-based software development projects, including an Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS), Internal Task Management System, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, and Inventory Management System. In each project, I led the planning, requirement analysis, design, development, and deployment phases, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation. My role involved ensuring alignment with business objectives, optimizing workflows, and ensuring timely delivery. As a result, these projects led to improved document accessibility, enhanced team collaboration, increased customer engagement, and better inventory visibility, driving overall operational efficiency.

BP Ad-hoc Telecom Projects

I currently lead a range of ad-hoc telecom projects for BP, providing rapid-response infrastructure solutions to support operational continuity across offshore and onshore assets. These include the deployment of PBX systems, radio communication links, fiber optic extensions, and network upgrades based on evolving site demands. The role requires real-time coordination with BP's HSE, engineering, and operations departments to ensure full compliance with technical standards, safety protocols, and offshore procedures, often under tight deadlines and high-risk conditions.

I designed, developed, and delivered SözÖyrən.az, a multilingual vocabulary-learning platform built for Azerbaijani users to improve daily language acquisition. I personally implemented the platform's architecture, UX/UI, and learning logic, delivering structured daily word plans across English, German, and Russian with a focus on habit formation over overload. Using a clean, distraction-free experience and systematic progression, the solution improves retention, consistency, and practical vocabulary growth. Result: a scalable, user-centric product that simplifies language learning and drives measurable daily progress.

I conceived, built, and shipped normativ.az, a multilingual regulatory-technology platform that equips Azerbaijani individuals and small businesses with financial, legal, and tax tools engineered to remain accurate as legislation evolves. Owning the full stack — system architecture, interface design, and calculation engine — I developed 24+ specialized calculators spanning seven regulatory domains, complemented by a document-generation suite that produces legally compliant templates including employment contracts and HR orders. Delivered through a focused, intuitive experience in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English, the platform is anchored by a single defensible advantage: regulatory currency, where every output is continuously aligned with prevailing Azerbaijani law. The outcome is a scalable, demand-driven product that addresses a structural gap in the country's corporate infrastructure while converting open-access tools into trusted, monetizable compliance solutions.
